Oscars: Ladies in Red... and Green!

In a turn of events that has cruelly robbed us of the opportunity to poke fun at the rich and famous, everyone at the Oscars last night looked absolutely stunning. From Penelope Cruz in princess-worthy blue Armani to Kelly Osbourne in black and emerald Zac Posen that she helped to design and Aldo shoes (see – we told you stars love the high street!)

Our highlights this year though were the ladies in red (an obvious but timeless choice) and – slightly more surprising - ladies in green! Although Spring/Summer 2012 is tipped to be the season of gentle pastel hues and the fact that many stars looked stunning in white (including Gwyneth Paltrow, Rooney Mara and Best Supporting Actress winner Octavia Spencer), the real knockouts at this year’s Oscars dared to be that little bit bolder. It is the Oscars after all!

Valentine's Day - The Red Shoes

I am often seen with scarlet lipstick and nails the colour of London buses. I find red a very practical colour – my mobile phone for example is bright red so I don’t have to search my bag long to find it. And my favourite possession of all is my little red Mini.

However, I do have a red-free zone: my shoe rack!
