Brits 2012 - Our Style Winner

Who were your style winners and losers at the Brits this year?
Adele won Best Album and Best British Artist (to nobody’s surprise!) but we also think she’s a winner for looking stylish and beautiful in this stunning Clements Ribeiro lace gown.
Although the night may be most remembered for her gesture to the ‘suits’ who requested that host James Corden cut her acceptance speech short and the gossip surrounding the rings clearly visible on her wedding finger, we think she deserves praise for simply being a knockout in her signature black dress and perfectly coiffed hair.
Adele shows us that once you have found what looks good on you, there is a lot to be said for sticking with it.
However, she was just one of a whole host of celebrities who were rocking lace on the red carpet. Jessie J wore a daring scarlet number, as did Emma Bunton who looked a lot warmer as she teamed hers with a pair of opaque tights. Florence Welch looked stunning in a peach textured lace number by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen and Fearne Cotton wore a white lace blouse tucked into a black flippy skirt.
Lace has been an up and coming trend on the red carpet after Kate Middleton wore a gorgeous floor length Temperley lace gown to the premiere of Warhorse earlier on in the year. This trend seems set to continue as we have a revival of ornate detailling - from twenties-style beaded embellishments to artisan craft style crochets and pointelle knits.
Get the lace look, even if you don’t have a red carpet event to attend, with our lacy bow ballerinas only £14.99.
