Surely 2012 is going to be Lana Del Rey's year. The New York songstress created one of the most talked about songs of the end of last year but her debut album 'Born to Die' finally hits shelves today!

Despite some media backlash which seems to be confined to her stage-name (nobody got angry with Gaga or Katy Perry?) and her stunning good-looks (since when was that a crime?) the truth will finally out today when the world gets to listen to her songs and decide for themselves.

Either way she is primed to become a style icon if this outfit is anything to go by. Channel the lovely Ms Rey’s tough-meets-vintage look by teaming these Graceland platform brogues (£19.99) with an ombre patterned dress and biker jacket.
