Laundry Symbols
The symbols on your laundry, a secret is finally lifted!
Do not wash
Hand wash, don’t use the washing machine and treat with care
Normal wash, however, with gentle spin speed at 30°C.
Gradual and slow wash, with low spin speed at 40°C.
Gradually cooling and slow wash, with low spin speed at 60°C or 95°C.
Normal wash with normal rinse and spin cycle at the appropriately shown temperature
Tumble drying possible, normal drying cycle.
Tumble drying possible, dry at a lower temperature setting.
Do not tumble dry
Dry clean, any solvent. Usually used with other restrictions on the correct dry cleaning procedure.
Perchlorethylene, hydrocarbon (Naphtha)
Normal goods can be dry cleaned with perchlorethylene. Common stain removing agents can also be used in a restricted manner.

Do not dry clean.
Restrictions for dry cleaning are:
- Drum load (18-22 l/kg)
- maximum load duration in solvent is 20 min
- maximum solution temperature 33°C
- no adding of water
- maximum temperature at drum exit 60°C
Hot iron, 200°C
Warm iron, 150°C
Cool iron
Do not iron
Polyacrylic fibre, acetate or polyamide are fabrics, which should not be steam ironed. To protect the fabric, put a dry cloth on top of your garment and iron it on its left side.
