What is a coupon/mediacode?

Occasionally Deichmann offer it's customers discounts via coupon codes. These include exclusive offers, services or discounts. Simply enter the code within the order process in the shopping cart or during checkout under "Redeem Coupon Code/Gift Card", selection " Coupon Code" and save. Please note the correct spelling and the note text for each promotion.

What are the terms of use for coupon codes?
Validity period: coupon/ mediacodes have a limited validity period, this is always stated in the email or in the cover letter or website banner. 

Minimum order value: Coupon codes may be subject to a minimum order value. This is always specified if applicable. 

Limited product selection: Coupon codes may be tied to specific products, campaigns or categories.

One-time use: There are coupon codes that can only be used once.


Subsequent crediting: It is not possible to retroactively credit the coupon code to a completed order.

Combining coupon/mediacodes: Only one coupon/ mediacode is redeemable per order - but it can be combined with gift card payments. 

Redeem coupon codes: Simply enter the code within the order process in the shopping cart or at checkout under "Redeem Coupon/ mediacode / Gift Card", selection "Coupon Codes" and save. Please pay attention to the exact spelling and do not use spaces.

How do I redeem coupon/mediacodes?
You can easily redeem your coupon/ mediacode during the checkout process. Simply enter the code within the shopping cart or at checkout under "Add mediacode"  and save. The purchase amount will then be reduced by the applicable discount.

My coupon/mediacode does not work, what could be the reason?
If your coupon/mediacode does not work, it may be due to the following reasons:
1) The coupon/mediacode has already been redeemed and is therefore used up.
2) The  coupon/mediacode  was issued for a specific account and is therefore personal.
3) The coupon/mediacode e is bound to a minimum order value.
4) The  coupon/mediacode  is not applicable to all items.
5) The validity period of your  coupon/mediacode  has expired.

Can I redeem gift cards at DEICHMANN?

Gift cards can be redeemed in the online store as well as in all DEICHMANN stores. 
To redeem your gift card online, you can enter the code either directly in the shopping cart or later in the checkout process. Under " Redeem Gift Card", select "Redeem Gift Card" and enter in the "Card Number" and "Pin" fields respectively (scratch off the PIN field on the gift card).
If your voucher value exceeds the order value, the remaining amount will remain on your gift card and you can redeem it on your next purchase. If the value of your purchase exceeds the value of the gift card, you can pay the difference with another payment method (except prepayment).

Store redemption: You can present the gift card at any DEICHMANN store within the UK for full payment or partial payment of merchandise. The corresponding amount will be deducted from the credit on your card. The remaining balance will appear on your receipt. Gift card credit is not paid out in cash, but can only be used for future purchases.


Can I offset my gift card against an existing order?
Unfortunately, the value of your gift card cannot be applied to an existing order. However, you are welcome to use your gift card on your next order.

Can I cash out a gift card?
The amount on your gift card cannot be cashed out and any remaining balance cannot be cashed out. The remaining amount remains on your gift card and can be redeemed at your next purchase, both in one of our approximately 130 stores and online.
Where can I see the value of my gift card?
You don't know what amount is on your gift card? To find out the value of your gift card you have two options:
1. you can go to one of our Deichmann stores and ask for the value of the gift card at the checkout.
