In the DEICHMANN online shop, you have the following payment options:

In the DEICHMANN online shop, we accept the following credit cards: Visa Card, Mastercard.

Your payment will only be charged at the time of package shipment when you click the "Order with Payment Obligation" button on the order overview page. In the case of a return, the credit card will be credited at the time of the return booking.

For additional security, we offer the 3-D Secure procedures "Verified by Visa" and "MasterCard SecureCode". After entering your credit card number in the order mask, we establish a connection to your card issuer to confirm your identity with a code. The credit card payment is only made upon successful authentication to prevent credit card misuse.

For your own security, we recommend that you contact your card-issuing bank or savings bank to inquire about the use of the new 3-D Secure procedure and to register your card.

Klarna is a payment provider that allows you to pay online easily, securely, and flexibly. At DEICHMANN, you have three Klarna payment options available: pay now, pay later, and pay in three installments - each without any additional costs for timely payment. Klarna is accepted in many well-known online stores in Europe.

When you select "Klarna" as the payment method at checkout, you will first be asked to log in with your Klarna account or create a new account. Klarna will then show you the available payment options:

• Invoice:
  With the option "Pay later with Klarna," you will receive an invoice by email after your order has been shipped. You then have 30 days to settle the amount - without interest or fees for timely payment.
  If you return items, you can note this in the Klarna app. The invoice will be paused and automatically adjusted upon receipt of the return.

• Instant Payment:
  With "Pay instantly with Klarna," you settle your order directly at checkout - for example, by direct debit, instant bank transfer, or credit card.

• Pay in Instalments:
  If you choose "Klarna Pay in Instalments," you can conveniently pay the total amount in three interest-free installments: the first at shipment, the rest automatically after 30 and 60 days. Klarna will notify you in advance via the app or email. Everything is transparent and fee-free if you pay on time.

Klarna decides in real time through an automated check which payment methods are shown to you - based on criteria such as order value, previous payment behavior, and credit check. Deichmann has no influence on this.

PayPal is a secure and fast online payment service. You can either create a PayPal account as a guest or during the ordering process to confirm the payment.

Here's how it works: Save your data once in your PayPal account. Simply choose PayPal as the payment method in the DEICHMANN order form. Then enter your email address and password in the PayPal form to confirm the payment.

With PayPal, you pay without entering a bank account or credit card number, as your data is already stored in your account.

When you click on "Order with payment obligation via PayPal," the payment is first authorized. Your PayPal account will only be charged upon shipment and relieved in case of returns.

Good to know:
PayPal also offers the option to "Pay later" - this allows you to settle the amount 30 days after the purchase. This option appears if you are enabled for it at PayPal and select it in the payment process.

The payment is usually credited within a few minutes and your order is processed immediately.

For returns, the credit will be made to your PayPal account. You can decide whether the amount stays there or is transferred back to your bank account. Alternatively, you can return items to one of our stores and receive a cash refund.

DEICHMANN does not carry out a credit check. However, DEICHMANN reserves the right to exclude customers from online purchases if they have been conspicuous in attempting fraud.

Klarna Invoice: Using the Klarna Invoice payment method requires a positive credit check. If you choose this payment option during the ordering process, we will forward your data to Klarna for the purpose of address and credit checks as part of the purchase initiation and processing. Further information on the terms of Klarna Invoice can be found here. Your personal data will be handled by Klarna in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and in accordance with Klarna's data protection regulations.

At DEICHMANN, the security of your data is of the utmost importance. Your payment details are used solely for processing your order. We use SSL encryption (Secure Socket Layer) for the secure transmission of all your personal data. Your data is encrypted to protect it from unauthorized access. For credit card payments, we offer the security procedures "Verified by Visa" and "Mastercard SecureCode". Please contact your bank to inquire about the use of these security procedures to optimally protect your card.

Tip: When making payments with Klarna or PayPal, we recommend activating two-factor authentication. This will better protect your account from unauthorized access and significantly increase the security of your online payments.
