Is the payment secure?

The security of your data is very important to us. Your payment details will only be used to make payment for your order. We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption for the transmission of personal data, such as your payment data.

What is SSL encryption?

SSL is a modern internet security standard with two main objectives: authentication (identity detection) of communicating stations and guaranteeing data confidentiality (encryption).

SSL guarantees triple protection:

  • Transmitted data is encrypted.

  • It ensures that the form is sent back only to the server to which it was sent.

  • It is verified that the personal data or other data has reached the recipient in complete or unaltered form.

SSL is a protocol developed by Netscape that is supported by all modern browsers. The web server (e.g. Affordable footwear for women, men & kids ) receives an electronic document (digital certificate) issued by an official certification authority (e.g. www.trustcenter.de). Based on this document, the browser can at any time verify the affiliation of the web server to the company. Subsequently, all data that is transmitted between you and us is encrypted so that a third party can neither read it nor change it.

For this purpose, our web server and your browser use a secret key that is only valid for the session and cannot be used at a later date. This ensures the confidentiality of your personal data. You can recognize a secure transmission by the padlock symbol in your browser. Websites offering encrypted content have the string "https" integrated in the address instead of the character string "http".

Why is the page too slow to respond?

Due to the technical framework conditions of data transmission on the Internet, the data rates responsible for displaying a page vary widely. The data transfer depends on the access medium you are using (such as modem, ISDN card, cable modem, fixed connection), on your Internet service provider, on the load on the data network in general, and ultimately on the load on DEICHMANN's system.

What should I do if I receive an error message?

In order to process your order and successfully deliver it to you, we will need some of your personal data (e.g. name and address). Mandatory data fields, without which your order cannot be processed, are marked with an asterisk symbol. You also have the option to voluntarily fill in a few additional details (e.g. date of birth), which will either help us in communicating with you or in compiling relevant offers. Should error messages be generated here, please follow the instructions shown in the red box.

If you are unable to successfully complete your registration in our online shop, you can contact our customer service either by email at [email protected] or by telephone on 01858 468546 on Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00. We will be able to resolve technical problems much more quickly and efficiently if you send us the exact wording of the error message.
